DIJANE THE LABLES CURRENT COLLECTION SHOW CASING AT BOX HILL INSTITUTE RUNWAY

December 5th 2018- Dijane will be showcasing her current graduate collection “Modern”. Dijane the label will premiere the newest collection at the Box hill institute runway show to benefit and support all emerging designers as well supporting their work and hard achievement over the three years of their degree.

The graduate runway “Botanica” will be held at Deakin Edge at Federation square Melbourne. The show will begin at 7:00 pm. Tickets are selling for $50 for adults and $40 dollars for Children under the age of 18 years old. Tickets can also be purchased in advanced through www.boxhillinstitute.com until 4th of December.

Botanica will be a lively event showcasing all student designers that are currently studying at Box Hill Institute. With fresh bubblies and lively music to start off the night, the event will be filled with industry professional and family friends all mingling with one another.

Dijane will present her collection on stage showcasing her range Modern.

The basis of “modern” range inspiration is how women’s wear adapted into menswear portraying a sense of strength and empowerment for women. Designers began blurring menswear silhouettes into women’s apparel throughout the 1900’s supporting feminism and women’s rights. The key influence that has been the pinnacle concept of “modern ” is Yves Saint Laurent “le smoking”

The collection portrays an imitation upon the traditions of a composed menswear tailored garments with the infusion of modern and feminine silhouettes empowering the womanly figure. The silhouettes are structured and tailored to the womanly body allowing the collection to have the balance and the complexity needed to embrace and empower the modern women.
