Hello!

i hoe everyone has had a great week!

As the year is coming to and end, My collection is almost done! meaning.... PHOTOSHOOT TIME!

As a creative i loved to design, draw and also collage yet creating look books are all 3 in one. So a part of the process of the shoot is finding elements of hair and make up. In this post we will be focusing on hair trends and the hair trends that i love and also think is best suited for my over all aesthetic.

So looking through Pinterest as well as hair trends that i have seen on the run way here are some of the most popular trends that have been spotted on runways around the world.

Party Hair Is Slicked, Shiny, and Sexy

Season after season, the slick back has proven itself as the unofficial runway go-to. And yet, designers still make it feel fresh. This week, Chloé and Balmain went the more va-va-voom route (totally slicked, totally sexy!), while Altuzarra delivered a finger-raked, heat wave–inspired take. And then there were the ultra-drenched looks from Rochas and Ann Demeulemeester, which were plastered chicly around the face and jawline. Still, nowhere did the phrase “not a hair out of place” ring truer than at Dior, where shiny, ultra-tight wig-wrapped updos highlighted the show’s dance-inspired headbands

Retro-Futurist Bangs, Bobs, and Bowls are Having a Moment

After unveiling an array of ’60s-inspired fringed pixies in Milan, Palau continued to spread the cropped fever in the City of Light. First at Givenchy, where he trimmed, razored, and tousled models with already-existing boy cuts to add impact and dimension to their look, then at Miu Miu, where he executed closed-cropped and bobbed cuts. Saint Laurent’s curvilineal bowl cuts, with their eye-obscuring fringe, ran heavy on sex appeal. And at Undercover, dip-dyed mushroom cuts came in shocking jewel tone shades. At Louis Vuitton, the gorgeous show opener wafted down the runway with a buoyant Afro, while other members of Nicolas Ghesquière’s cool-girl gang left their hair long but embraced the season’s omnipresent micro-bangs.

THE BOBBY PINS The perceptible bobby pin phenomenon was spotted on runways from New Yorkto Paris in a variety of incarnations. J.W.Anderson and Libertine went the simple route, securing side-parted hair effortlessly at the temples for an unfussy, schoolgirl vibe. At Versace and Simone Rocha, the bobbies were bejeweled with ornate versions in gold and pearl clusters adorning models’ tresses in multiples. Erdem fastened faux bangs with bobby pins that were far from concealed and at Ports 1961, homemade-looking braids rested below groupings of conspicuous fasteners. The applications ranged from the easy to the elaborate. Maki Oh transformed the hair holders into actual accessories, interlacing them in intricate lattice-like designs on either side of centre parts. The message was clear: take your pins out to play this spring.

These trends have shined the catwalk and have been interoperated in many ways!

as for my collection i want the models to be fierce string and sleek.

by searching the internet as well as Pinterest.

(you can look at my pinterest account to see further inspirations of hair as well as anything else that has inspired me throughout the year https://www.pinterest.com.au/dijanerexha9347/ )

I really loved the idea of merging the slick hair, with effortless waves as well as including the bobby pin trend in?? The more the merrier right. Fashion has no rules, atleast thats what they say.

I created a mood board that is inspired by the colour palette, simplicity and sophisticated edge.

The idea of slick hair with added accessories such as the bobby pins adds extra dimension to the look.

Beautfuil slick hair, tight ponies and bobby pins adds a fashion editorial vibe! as well as simple yet eye catching.

This will be the hair and make up inspiration for my graduate collection shoot! i will all keep you updated! stay tuned for sneaky behind the scenes shoots!

also keep an eye out for my new instagram posts that i will be sharing information thier also at @dijanerexhacolllages

Have a great week beautiful people!

D xx
